A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT
OF AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE TO THE FOUR -
COUNTY (NW) REGIONAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
BOARD
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas is a member of the Four -County (NW)
Regional Solid Waste Management District, eastablished pursuant to Arkansas Act 752 of 1991; and
WHEREAS, the Four -County (NW) Regional Solid Waste Management District is governed
by the Four -County (NW) Regional Solid Waste Management Board, composed of the county judge
of each member county and the mayor of each member city within the District; and
WHEREAS, A.C.A.§8-6-703 provides for member counties and cities to appoint someone
other than the county judge or mayor as the authorized representative on the Board; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Cheryl Zotti to the City's authorized representative
on the Four -County (NW) Regional Solid Waste Management Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS -
Section 1 That the City Council hereby approves the Mayor's appointment of Cheryl
Zotti, to serve as the City's authorized representative on the Four -County (NW) Regional Solid
Waste Management Board along with all the rights and responsibilities thereto.
