A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE APPLICATION OF
ATLANTIC COAST AIRLINES FOR AN EXEMPTION FROM
THE HIGH DENSITY SLOT RULE TO INITIATE NON-STOP
SERVICE FROM CHICAGO O'HARE TO FAYETTEVILLE
DRAKE FIELD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS -
Section 1 That the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby supports the application of
Atlantic Coast Airlines for an exemption from the high density slot rule to initiate non-stop regional
jet service from Chicago O'Hare to Fayetteville Drake Field. Atlantic Coast Airlines is favorably
supported because they already have the aircraft available and can begin service to Fayetteville as
early as March.
