A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID NO. 98-70 IN THE AMOUNT
OF $34,778 TO RIVER CITY HYDRAULICS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF TEN (10) ROLL -OFF CONTAINERS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section L That the City Council hereby awards Bid No. 98-70 in the amount of $34,778
to River City Hydraulics for the purchase of ten (10) roll -off containers. A copy of the bid tabulation
is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

The Bidder, incompliance with your invitation for bids for Roll -off Containers, Project 97037-0001,
having examined the specifications with related bid documents and being familiar with all of the
conditions surrounding the proposed project including the availability of materials and labor, hereby
proposes to furnish all labor, materials; and supplles, and to complete the project in accordance with
the bid documents and at the prices stated below. These prices are to cover all expenses incurred in
performing the work required under the bid documents, of which this proposal is a part.
Bidder hereby proposes to perforin the work described in the Bid Documents and Specifications for

Rectangular Roll -off Containers 00, 30, & 40 cubic yards)

10.01 pumosq. The City intends to purchase ten (10) roil -off containers to be used in association
with our recycling center operations. These roll -off containers will be used for outdoor
storage of' glass, plastic, aluminum, and steel commodities collected from our curbside
recycling program.
10.02 $ub-Frame and Rail. 6 x 2 x 3/16" structural tubing rails and 1 'A" thick solid nose on pick-
up end of rails.
10.03 floor Construction 1/4" plate floor with 3" channel cross members.
10.04 Hook and_Mounting Plates. 1 1/4" thick plate flame cut, welded into both sides of hook
plate. Hook plate shall be %" steel plate fully welded to sub -frame rails.
10.05 Container (sides and front1. 7 gauge sheet steel fully welded inside and out with 4 x 3-11
steel tubing frame,
az 10.06 Rear Door. 7 gauge steel sheet with 4 x 3 x 3/16" tubing frame, 8" channel door frame, 2
H --. - .. hinges, 1" x 4" hinge bar with 15/16" diameter pins, and a 2 point latch system with locking
mechanism.

10.07 Paint. Containers will be primed with rust inhibiting primer on all surfaces inside and out,
and painted green in color with a high gloss industrial enamel on all external surfaces.
