Section L. That the City Council hereby . wards Bid No. 98-65, in the amount of
$589,000, plus a 5% contingency, to Harrison Davis C.nstruction Company, for the construction
of Fire Station No. 6 located at 900 Hollywood Street, d authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute a contract for said construction. A copy of the contra is is attached hereto marked Exhibit
"A" and made a part hereof.
Section 7 The City Council hereby appro es a b' dget adjustment in the amount of
$215,903 increasing Building Costs, Acct. No. 4470 9470 804 00, Project No. 97076 20 by
decreasing Building Costs, Acct. No. 4470 9470 5804 00, Project No. 97013 1, in the amount of
$105,425; and Use of Fund Balance, Acct. No. 4470 09 7 4999 99, in the amount of $110,478. A
copy of the budget adjustment is attached hereto mark:d Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof.

DATE OF COMMENCEMENT AND SUSSTAN IAL COMPLETION
3.1 The date of commencement is the date from which the Contrac Time ; Paragraph 3.2 is measured, and shall be the date
of this Agreement, as first written above, unless a different date is stated below! 'r provision is made for the date to be fixed in a
notice to proceed issued by the Owner.

3.2 The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the entire Work tiot later than

PROGRESS PAYMENTS
5.1 Based upon Applications for Payment submitted to the Architec by the
