BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section L. That the City Council hereby approves Change Order No. 1 with Wittenberg, Deloney & Davidson, Inc., in the amount of $37,561.13, for additional architectural services for Fire Station No. 6 (Hollywood) and Fire Station No. 4 (Planeview); and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said change order. I have approved his going ahead with the preparation of this change order to cover the following items: 1. Provide lights in attic storage area (we also did a change order for this at Station #6) - cost ... $539.00. compressor and cascade system now on order 2. Provide a 3 phase, 240 -volt electrical outlet to supply power for our new breathing air compressor and cascade system now on order - cost ... $559.00. 3. Provide raised panel cabinet doors in living room and dining room to match those in the kitchen - cost ... $247.00. The total of these requests is $1,345.00, making the contact total $613,496. These services were authorized by purchase order No. 98- 1148 dated March 13, 1998. The project site is an approximately 1.3 - acre tract located east of Hollywood Avenue south of Arkansas Highway 180, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The project will be a single -story structure about 70 ft by 90 ft in plan dimensions. Moderate floor loads are anticipated in the apparatus bays. Paved drives and parking areas will be included in the project. Foundation loads are anticipated to be light. Future additions may include an additional apparatus bay and pavement extensions on the north. The purposes of this study were to explore subsurface conditions at the site and to develop recommendations to guide design and construction of foundations and pavements.
