A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRADE OF STATE
HIGHWAYS AND CITY STREETS AS SPECIFICALLY SET
FORTH IN ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY AND
TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT MINUTE ORDER
NUMBER 96-105.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section . The City Council hereby approves trade of state highways and city streets
in Job 040039 and others as specifically set forth in Arkansas State Highway and Transportation
Department Minute Order No. 96-105, dated June 4, 1996. A copy of the minute order is
attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

WHEREAS, in Washington County, in the City of Fayetteville, Job 040039 is
under construction for the extension of Razorback Road from State Highway 16 to State
Highway 265 (Cato Springs Road), and the reconstruction of State Highway 265 from Cato
Springs Road to U.S. 71; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville has requested certain changes to the State
Highway System in that City; and
WHEREAS, these changes would be in the best interest of both the City and the
Department.
NOW THEREFORE, it is ordered that upon completion of Job 040039, and upon
receipt of the proper resolution from the City of Fayetteville, the following changes to the State
Highway System are hereby made:
1. The new location, as constructed by Job 040039, is added to the State Highway
System, as part of State Highway 112, Section 0.
2. That part of State Highway 265, Section 1, from U.S. 71 to Cato Springs Road,
is redesignated as part of State Highway 112, Section 0.
3. That part of State Highway 16, from 15th Street to State Highway 180, is
redesignated as part of State Highway 112, Section 0.
4. That part of Greg Street, from Drake Street, northerly to U.S. 71, is added to the
State Highway System as part of State Highway 180, Section 2.

5. That part of State Highway 265, Section 1, from the new location of State
Highway 112, eastward to U.S. 71B, is hereby declared to be no longer a part of
the State Highway System.
6. State Highway 180, Section 1, in its entirety, is hereby declared to be no longer
a part of the State Highway System.
7. That part of State Highway 180, Section 2, from State Highway 112 to Greg
Street, is hereby declared to be no longer a part of the State Highway System,
all as shown on the attached sketch.
All action is subject to the furnishing of right-of-way m accordance with
Commission policy.
