RESOLUTION NO. 61-96
A RESOLUTION CLARIFYING RESOLUTION 19-96.
WHEREAS, Resolution 19-96 states City Council policy regarding street connectivity
over Mt. Sequoyah; and,
WHEREAS, confusion has developed regarding the operational aspects of this policy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission is to forward for consideration by the City
Council:
1 Any Preliminary Plat, Large Scale Development, or other development
plan in which the developer proposes to create a street connection over Mt.
Sequoyah, pursuant to Resolution 19-96.
After City Council action regarding the proposed street connection, it will return the
Prehminary Plat, Large Scale Development, or other development plan to the Planning
Commission for appropriate action.
In the absence of a developer's proposal to create a connection over Mt. Sequoyah, the
Planning Commission is instructed to consider each Preliminary Plat, Large Scale Development,
or other development plan on its own merits.
