Home My WebLink About22-96 RESOLUTION• RESOLUTION NO. 22-96 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, CERTIFYING LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF HANNA'S POTPOURRI SPECIALTIES, INC. TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM OF 1993. WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business or enterprise to participate in the Arkansas Enterpnse Zone Program and benefit from the refunds/tax credits as provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1993; and WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific forms available from AIDC; and WHEREAS, Hanna's Potpourri Specialties, Inc., located at 1421 East 15th Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas, has sought to participate in the program and more specifically has requested benefits accruing from construction of a new 69,375 square foot warehouse next to the existing plant which will be used for storage and the production of soap; and WHEREAS, Hanna's Potpourri Specialties, Inc. has agreed to furnish the local government all necessary information for compliance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That Hanna's Potpourri Specialties, Inc. be endorsed for benefits from the refund/tax credits as provided m the Arkansas Enterpnse Zone Program Regulations of 1993, through June 30, 1999. Section 2. That the Department of Finance and Administration recognizes the City's endorsement of Hanna's Potpourri Specialties, Inc. receiving a refund local sales and use taxes.
