HomeMy WebLinkAbout1-96 RESOLUTIONRESOLUTION NO. 1-96 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING NEW STEP RATES FOR CIVIL SERVICE FIRE AND POLICE AND REVISED PAY RANGES FOR HOURLY, SALARIED AND EXECUTIVE EMPLOYEES TO BE EFFECTIVE WITH PAYROLL NO. 2, JANUARY 1, 1996; AND APPROVAL OF A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: SectionectS__Aofl. That new step rates for civil service fire and police and revised pay ranges for hourly, salaried and executive employees are hereby approved and adopted, to be effective with payroll No. 2, January 1, 1996. A copy of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas Compensation Practices Update, dated December 1995, and prepared by the Hay Group is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof. Section 2. That -a budget adjustment is hereby approved to increase Acct. No. 1010 6600 5100 01 in the amount of $86,000., Acct. No. 5400 1820 5100 01 in the amount of $5000., Acct. No. 5500 5000 5100 01 in the amount of $4000., and Acct. No. 5550 3940 5100 01 in the amount of $2000.; and decrease Acct. No. 1010 0001 4999 99 in the amount of $86,000., Acct. No. 5400 4000 5100 01 m the amount of $5000., Acct. No. 5500 0950 4999 99 m the amount of $4000., and Acct. No. 5550 0955 4999 99 in the amount of $2000.
