RESOLUTION NO. 14-96
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT
OF $100,000 TO THE CLIFFS DEVELOPMENT AS THE
CITY'S SHARE OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CLIFFS
BOULEVARD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby approves payment in the amount of $100,000
to the Cliffs Development as the city's share of the construction of Cliffs Boulevard. A copy
of the statement is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6th day of February , 1996.

On behalf of The Cliffs #1, a Limited Partnership, I request payment of $100,000.00 as the City's
portion for construction of the first segment of Cliffs Boulevard. Please make payment to "The
Cliffs #1, a Limited Partnership" and send it to my attention at Lindsey Management Co., Inc.

Please find attached with this letter a cost estimate that
separates the costs of a standard 31' B/B street and Cliffs Boulevard.
The standard 31' B/B street would consist of curb & gutter, 8" of
base, and 2" of asphalt. The boulevard is a divided street consisting
of a 2" drainage blanket and 8" of concrete with each side being 26'
wide. The difference in costs for these streets are as follows:

Originally, the city agreed to reimburse the difference in costs
of the streets. We ask that you review and concur with these costs and
have the city send the refund to The Cliffs #1, An Arkansas Limited
Partnership, General Partner William G. Underwood, for the difference
in cost as indicated.
