RESOLUTION NO. 12-96
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNCIL ON AGING, INC. TO
EXTEND THE TIME OF PERFORMANCE TO DECEMBER 31,
1997.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby approves an amendment to an agreement with
the Council on Aging, Inc. to extend the time of performance to December 31, 1997, and the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute same. A copy of the agreement
amendment is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

AMENDMENT
This amends the Agreement dated May 17, 1994 with the Council on Aging, Inc.
(Grantee) and the City of Fayetteville through its Community Development Division (Grantor),
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, under the original Agreement the Grantee was awarded $375,000.00 from
the Community Development Block Grant for construction of a Senior Activity Center to be
located at 901 South College, Fayetteville, AR;
WHEREAS, under the original Agreement the Time of Performance expired December
31, 1995;
NOW THEREFORE, with this Amendment the Grantor shall extend the Time of
Performance to December 31, 1997.
