HomeMy WebLinkAbout38-95 RESOLUTION• • RESOLUTION NO. 38-95 A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS TO UTILIZE FEDERAL -AID MONIES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE INTERSECTION AND UPGRADE OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT HIGHWAY 112 AND CLEVELAND. WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas understands Federal -Aid Surface Transporation funds are available for certain city projects at the following Federal participating ratios: Work Phase Federal Share 1. Traffic signals Construction & Engineering 100% City Match 0 2. Intersection Construction 100% 0 Improvements & Engineering Right-of-way 0% 100% & Utilities City projects All Phases 0% 100% programmed but not let to contract BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The City Council will participate in accordance with its designated responsibility in this project. Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate agreements and contracts necessary to expedite the construction of this city project. Section 3. The City pledges its full support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department to initiate action to construct this city project.
