A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF LAND TO
THE CITY of: FAYE I'TEVILLE. BY WILLIAM HAYDEN
MCILROY AND MARY JOE MCILROY IN CONJUNCTION
W1TH THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTER
AND/OR PARK IN THE AREA OF FIN CUP CREEK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVIIALE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. I'he City Council hereby accepts the donation of land to the City of
Fayetteville by William Hayden Mcltroy and Mary Joe Mcllroy in conjunction with the
development of a community center and/or park in the area of Tin Cup Creek. A copy of the
warranty deed is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

Mr. William Hayden Mcllroy recently donated to the City of Fayetteville three tracts of land
located on Mill avenue, Fayetteville. The purpose of this conveyance was to assist the City in
developing this property, along with other adjoining properties, into a community center area.
Three lots, or parts of lots, are involved in this transaction from Mr. Mcllroy, namely;
Lot Nos. 2 and 3, Block 1. Boles Addition. 5160/7740 ft.2, Parcel 765-02964-000
Pt. Lot No. 8, Block 2,Henry's Addition: 3950 ft.2 M or L, Parcel 765-06630-000
These lots are located in the SW E/4 of Section 15, Township 16 North, Range 30 West (Atlas #
524). Included herewith for your records arc the following items:
1) Warranty Deed (original to City Clerk) dated July 19, 1994, and
recorded on August 22, 1994 in the office of the Circuit clerk and
Ex -Officio recorder of Washington County, AR , as Deed Record
No. 9450911.
2) Plat of general area.
3) Appraisal of said property by The Real Estate Consultants, dated
June 23, 1994 in the amount of $12,000.
4) The issuance of a Policy of Title Insurance has been requested of
Washington County Abstract and "title Company, Inc. If issued.
such policy will be forwarded for your records upon receipt.
There were no surveys performed on any of these lots.
