A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID NO. 94-48 IN THE
AMOUNT OF $46,000.00 TO WILLIAMS FORD TRACTOR TO
PURCHASE 1 NEW UNIT (TRACTOR, BACKHOE, AND
LOADER EQUIPMENT), LESS $17,100.00 TRADE
ALLOWANCE FOR A NET TOTAL AMOUNT OF $28,900.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby awards Bid No. 94-48 in the amount of
$46,000.00 to Williams Ford Tractor to purchase 1 new unit (tractor, backhoe, and loader
equipment), less $17,100.00 trade allowance thr a net total amount of $28,900.00. A copy of
the bid tabulation is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of August , 1994.

Less Trade Allowance CREDIT $ 17,100.00
TOTAL NET COST $ 28, 900.00
TOTAL BID AWARD: $ 28,900.00
As a deciding factor, a careful evaluation of all aspects of the final bid were taken
into consideration prior to the award recommendation to give us maximum safety,
efficiency, and economy. With all factors considered it should also tend to improve
resale value of equipment of this type. The inclusion of specific options when
weighing the initial cost against projected benefits, prove to be the best economical
choice.
The budgeted amount for this item is from the Shop Fund Capital Expenditures
Program, Vehicles and Equipment, Backhoe/Loader, 9700-1920-5802.00 in the amount
of $56,000.00. With the purchase of this unit at $28,900.00 a balance of $27-,100:60- in x�
remains to be utilized at a later date for other projects if necessary.
Safety, Efficiency and Longevity considerations were a deciding factor for the
functional items included in the Specifications and Recommended Award.
