A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO
RECOGNIZE A $24,500 GRANT FROM THE SMALL
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND FOR REI,ATED
EXPENDITURES FOR TREE REPLACEMENTS ALONG
NORTH COLLEGE AVENUE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETFEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Council hereby approves a budget adjustment in the amount of
$24,500 increasing Contract Services, Acct. No. 1010 5450 5315 00 to recognize a grant from
the Small Business Administration, decreasing Federal Grants, Acct. No. 1010 0001 4309 00.
for related expenditures for tree replacements along North College Avenue A copy of the
budget adjustment is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

Justification:
The City has been awarded a SBA Grant for tree replacements
along North College Avenue. The grant award calls for the City
to match the federal funds. The match funds are in the Public
Lands Maintenance Program. This budget adjustment recognues
the cost funded by the grant.
