A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND ary
CLERK TO EXEC:UTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE
MCC LEI .1,AN D CONS I ,T1NG ENGINEERS CONTRACT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $25,038.38 FOR THE 36" WATER LINE
AND STORAGE TANKS PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Council hereby authonzes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute
Amendment No. 2 to thc McClelland Consulting Engineers contract in the $25,038.38 for the
36" water line and storage tanks project. A copy of the amendment to the contract is attached
hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

Nature of the Changes: Provide additional engineering services as necessary to:
1. Reroute the water main across the Dowell property to facilitate easement
acquisition.
2. Evaluate alternate pipe materials and incorporate the results in the project
documents.
3. Prepare design documents for a cathodic protection system for steel pipe.
4. Revise plans and specifications to change the size and location of the Mount
Comfort main.
5. Revise plans and specifications to accommodate a future extension of Van Asche
Drive.
