A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID NO. 93-62 AND 93-63
FOR PROVIDING THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE'S 1994
ASPHALTIC MATERIAL AND CONCRETE NEEDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Bid No. 93-62 is hereby awarded to McClinton -Anchor for the City's
1994 asphaltic material needs A copy of the hid tabulation is attached hereto marked Exhibit
"A" and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That Bid No 93-63 is hereby awarded to Arkhnla Sand & Gravel for the
City's 1994 concrete needs for the 1994 year. A copy of the bid tabulation is attached hereto
marked Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof.

SUBJ: BID RECOMMENDATION FOR BIDS 93-62 AND 93-63
Staff recommends award of Bid 93-6d for concrete to Arkhola Sand &
Gravel. Three bids were received. When taking all quantities bid
into consideration, Arkhola Sand & Gravel is the lowest bidder.
They are also the only bidder that could provide all products bid.
Beaver Lake hid a price on the 9,000 PSI, but marked through the
9,000. They were unsure they could get the product.
Bid 93-61 for Asphalt is recommended to be awarded to Apac-Arkansas
a division of McClinton Anchor. They are the lowest overall bidder
when all quantities are taken into consideration.
