A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID NO. 93-13 TO MOTOROLA
COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS, INC.. FOR RADIO
MAINTENANCE OF THE CITY'S MOTOROLA 800 MHZ
SMARTNF.T TRUNKING SYSTEM. 1N THE AMOUNT OF
S40.458.90 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO L'XECU'TE A SERVICE AGREEMENT AND AN
ADDENDUM TO THE SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH
MOTOROLA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Council hereby awards Bid No. 93-13 to Motorola
Communications and Electronics, Inc.. to provide radio maintenance for the City's Motorola 800
MHz Smartnet Trunking System, in the amount of $40,458.90 and authorizes the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute a service agreement and an addendum to the service agreement with
Motorola. A copy of the agreement, addendum, and bid tabulations arc attached hereto marked
and made a part hereof.

Addendum to Motorola Service Agreement Contract:
Contract shall terminate without further obligation on the
part of the City at the close of fiscal year 1994 and at the close
of each succeeding fiscal year.
However,
contract will
1995, 1996,
December 31,
with the approval of funding by the City Council this
automatically renew at the beginning of fiscal years
1997 and 1998, until the end of contract period
1998.
Above clauses in no way effect right to terminate contract
with a thirty day written notice to terminate by either party.
