RESOLUTION NO. 1C9-94
A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID NO. 94-67 IN THE
AMOUNT OF $498.863.00 TO HECKATHORN
CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE CON TRACT TO PROVIDE
FOR TERMINAL EXPANSION AT DRAKE FIELD; AND
APPROVAL OF A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO ESTABLISH
AIP #18 AND AIP #19 AS SEPARATE PROJECTS.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby awards Bid No. 94-67 In the amount of
$498,863.00 to heckathorn construction and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the
contract to provide for terminal expansion at Drake Field. A copy of the agreement is attached
hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
Section 2. '1' hat the City Council hereby approves a budget adjustment in the amount
of $657,161.00 to establish AIP #18 and AIP #19 as separate projects by increasing Terminal
Expansion, Acct. No. 5550 3960 7 820.19, Project No. 94080.0001 decreasing Building Cost,
Acct. No. 5550 3960 5 804.00 Project No. 93068.0001 in the amount of $14,000.00; Building
Costs, Acct. No. 5550 3960 5 804 00, Project No. 94004.0001 in the amount of $17,000.00;
and Federal Grant Matches, Acct. No. 5550 3960 7 820.18, Project No. 94002.001 in the
amount of $626,161.00. A copy of the budget adjustment is attached hereto and made a part
hereof.

Construction Co. This is a zero change order with no change in the financial aspects of the contract. This
change order will finalize the Terminal Expansion Project.

You are directed to make the following changes in this Contract:
1. Temporary kitchen floor plan. Add $4,025.00
2. Paint vinyl covered gypsum board in vestibule
with multi -flake paint. Add 962.00
Revise finish hardware allowance per quote. Deduct (3,675.00)
4. Delete ceramic tile pavers in restaurant area. Deduct (1,375.00)
5. Move feeder circuit for panel in Mechanical
Room south gate area to accommodate new 400 amp
bucket for Pane: PAA. Add 525.00
6 Upgrade exposed conduit at cooler area, delete 3
lights, delete ceiling tile and grid, delete ceiling
diffuser and ductwork fcr supply air at cooler area,
delete changes to fan and grill at mech. room, delete
soffit demolition. Deduct (925.00)
7 Deduct 5100. per day fcr delay days unaccounted for
according to Contract. Deduct (3,000.00)
8 Modify plumbing in kitchen area. Add 1,190.00
9 Power sweep and stripe all of roadway in front
of terminal building. Add 1,694.00
10. Lobby area - remove existing ceiling tile in west
slope and install in north slope, etc. Add 1,282.00
11. Delete restaurant ceramic tile area.Deduct (312.00)
:2. Adjust signage allowance (S1,200.) to actua'_ (6756.) Deduct (444.00)
J. Delete landscape allowance. Deduct (2,000.00)
14. Add flagpole lighting. Add 1,629.00
