RESOLUTION NO. 105-94
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE 1994 SCHOOL MILLAGE
CAMPAIGN AND ENCOURAGING ALL FAYETTEVILLE
RESIDENTS TO VOTE FOR THE MILLAGE ON TUESDAY,
SEPTEMBER 20, 1994.
WHEREAS, Fayetteville residents have shown their strong support for public education
for almost 125 years; and,
WHEREAS, public education is one of the largest employers in the City of Fayetteville;
and,
WHEREAS, students and teachers in the Fayetteville Public Schools are annually
recognized for their excellence in the classroom by regional and national organizations; and,
WHEREAS, The millage proposed by the Fayetteville Board of Education will help keep
our schools strong and bring up-to-date technology to our children's classrooms.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council does hereby endorse the 1994 School Millage
Campaign and encourages all Fayetteville residents to vote for the millage on Tuesday,
September 20, 1994.
