A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ESTIMATES FOR
UTILITY RELOCATION COSTS AND ISSUANCE OF
PURCHASE ORDERS TO SWEPCO IN THE AMOUNT OF
$359,089.93, WARNER CABLE IN THE AMOUNT OF
$19,235.00 AND SOUTHWESTERN BELL 1N THE AMOUNT
OF $8,451.45.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the estimates for utility relocation costs
and issuance of purchase orders to Swepco in the amount of $359,089.93, Warner Cable m the
amount of $19,235.00 and Southwestern Bell in the amount of $8,451.45. A copy of the cost
estimates and purchase orders are attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6th day of September 1994.

RE: ILS - Drake Field
Obstruction removal
This letter is a follow up to our telephone conversation of February 10 concerning the
relocation of Southwestern Electric Fixer Germany's overhead poser lanes along
Highway 71, North of Drake Field in Fayetteville. We estimate the cost of this relocation to
be $359,089.93. This cost does not include costs for services to customer's premises that
will be fed from the underground facilities or necessary wiring of customer owned facilities.
This customer owned facility's work will have to be coordinated by the airport and must
be perNried by private contractors at the custarer's tine and expense, or as the airport
can work: these expenses out.
Attachedare detail sheets of material and labor costs to perform this relocation, aod_a
sketch of the proposed facilities in question.

This is in response to Mr. Wayne Jones' letter regarding
costs estimates for Obstruction Removal at Drake Field.
Warner Cable estimates relocation costs to be $21,065.
This estimate includes $1.2,750 for relocating 4500' of aerial
line, $4000 for highway bores and $2400 for driveway bores.
Included is $1915 for wreck out of existing facilities.
Warner Cable is seeking full reimbursement of actual
costs.
I apologize for the delay. However, since we are attached
to utility poles and share easements, we could not determine
our needs until we were made aware of the power and telephone
companies plans.
