A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE MITCHENER EXCAVATION CHANGE
ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $33,109.82 FOR
TAXIWAY, BLASTPADS, FENCING, DRAINAGE,
CLEARING, GRADING, AND OBSTRUCTION REMOVAL
WORK UNDER AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT GRANT NO. 17
AND APPROVAL OF CONTINGENCY AMOUNT OF $18,000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Mitchener
Excavation Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $33,109.82 for taxiway, blastpads, fencing,
drainage, clearing, grading, and obstruction removal work under Airport Improvement Grant No.
17. A copy of the change order is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A' and made a part hereof.

The following changes to the Contract are hereby ordered:
1. The Owner wishes to add additional Clearing, and Grubbing and Seeding, and
Fertilizing within the Runway Protection Zone for Runway 34, to the Contract
as Obstruction Removal within the RPZ.
A. Add Bid Item No. 67 for 8 Acres
and Grubbing at $3,750/Acre.
B. Add Bid Item No. 68 for 7 Acres
and Fertilizing at $700/Acre.
C. Increase Bid Item No. 41 by 1.0 Acres for
seeding, fertilizing and mulching for a total
of 25 Acres at $1,500/Acre. Add $ 1,500.00
of Clearing

2. The Owner wishes to delete the Bid Item for Overtime Engineering Obstruction
from the Contract and to adjust the amount of Clearing and Grubbing in the
vicinity of Greenland Schools along the Airport west Property Line.

Overtime Engineering Observation at $43.50/hr. Delete $12,963.00
