A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED GRANTING
OWNERSHIP TO THE PREVIOUS OWNERS OF PROPERTY

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
$ec•tion1. That the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby vacates and abandons all
of its rights together with the rights of the public generally in and to the following described
property located in Washington County, Arkansas:
A part of the NE'A of the NW',4 of Section 27, Township 16 North, Range 30
West, Washington County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: A
strip of land of equal and uniform width 50 feet either side of a line beginning at
a point which is 710 feet West of the NE Comer of said 40 acre tract; thence
South 2.33' West 456.71 feet; thence curving Southeasterly 541.33 feet along a
12°30' circular curve having a radius of 458.37 feet, thence South 65°07' East
474.95 feet to a point on an existing fence, said point bemg North 227.5 feet
from the Southeast corner of said 40 acre tract; contammg 3.44 acres, more or
less.
Section 2.The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a warranty deed
to convey any right, title or interest the City may have m and to the subject property to the
property owner, Lons Stanton Company, an Arkansas Corporation. A copy of the warranty deed
is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".

WARRANTY DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That The City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, a municipal
corporation organized under and by virtue of the laws of the State
of Arkansas, hereinafter called Grantor, by the Mayor and City
Clerk, duly authorized by proper resolution of its Board of
Directors (now City Council), for and in consideration of the sum
of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration in
hand paid by Loris Stanton Company, an Arkansas Corporation, and
Nancy W. Lewis, hereinafter called Grantee, do hereby grant,
bargain and sell unto the said Grantee and Grantee's heirs and
assigns, the following described land situated in Washington
County, State of Arkansas, to -wit:
DESCRIPTION:
A part of the NE1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 27, Township 16 North,
Range 30 West, Washington County, Arkansas, more particularly

belonging unto the said Grantee and Grantee's heirs and assigns,
forever. And said corporation hereby covenants with the said
Grantee that it is lawfully seized of said land and premises, that
the same is unincumbered, and that it will forever warrant and
defend the title to the said lands against all legal claims
whatever.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the name of the Grantor is hereunto
affixed by its Mayor and its seal is affixed by its City Clerk,
