RESOLUTION NO. 44-91
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CERTIFICATE OF
PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY BE ISSUED TO
MR. JIM JAMES D/B/A AFFORDABLE LIMOUSINE
SERVICE FOR OPERATING A TRANSPORTATION SERVICE
WITHIN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE.
WHEREFORE, the City Council, acting as the Fayetteville Public
Transit Board, has determined that further taxicab service in the
city is required by the public convenience and necessity; and,
WHEREFORE, the applicant, Mr. Jim James d/b/a Affordable
Limousine Service is fit, willing, and able to perform such public
transportation and to conform to the provisions contained in the
Fayetteville Code of Ordinances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That City Clerk is authorized to issue a
certificate of public convenience and necessity to Mr. Jim James
d/b/a Affordable Limousine Service for operating a transportation
service within the City of Fayetteville. A copy of which is
attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That the rates charged for all taxi companies
operating in the City of Fayetteville shall be no higher than the
highest rate approved by the City Council in an active certificate
of public convenience and necessity.

CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE
AND NECESSITY
This Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity has been
issued to:
AFFORDABLE LIMOUSINE SERVICE
as approved by the Fayetteville City Council on the 20th day of
Anril. 1993.
This Certificate allows the taxi (transportation) service to
operate within the city limits of Fayetteville as per the proposal
for operation submitted to and approved by the City Council.
