RESOLUTION NO. 23-93
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MAYOR'S
APPOINTMENTS OF AN ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVE
TO ATTEND THE FOUR COUNTY (N.W.) SOLID WASTE
MANAGEMENT DISTRICT BOARD MEETINGS.
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas is a member of a regional solid waste
management district, established pursuant to Arkansas Act 752 of 1991 and referred to as the
Four County (Northwest) Sohd Waste Management District; and
WHEREAS, the Four County Solid Waste Management District is governed by a
regional solid waste management board, composed of the county judge of each member county
and the mayor of each eligible city within those counties; and
WHEREAS, the Arkansas legislature has provided that each board member, with the
confirmation of the governing body of the respective city or county, may appoint an alternate
representative to attend the solid waste management board meetings; and
WHEREAS, Fayetteville Mayor Fred Hanna has appointed the City's Pubhc Works
Director, Kevin Crosson, to serve as Fayetteville's alternate representative to the Four County
Solid Waste Management District board meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby approves the Mayor's appointment of the
City's Public Works Director, Kevin Crosson, to serve as Fayetteville's alternate representative
to the to the Four County Solid Waste Management District board meetings.
