RESOLUTION NO. 11 R-91
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, TO ENDORSE HANNA'S
POTPOURRI SPECIALTIES, INC. TO PARTICIPATE IN THE
ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM OF 1993.
WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business or enterprise to participate
in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program and benefit from the refunds/tax credits as provided
in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1993; and
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific form available from AIDC; and
WHEREAS, Hanna's Potpourri Specialties, Inc. located at 1421 E. 15th Street,
Fayetteville, Arkansas has sought to participate m the program and more specifically has
requested benefits accrwng from expansion/construction of the specific facility; and
WHEREAS, Hanna's Potpoum Specialties, Inc. has agreed to furnish the City all
necessary mformation for compliance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVII.I.F, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Hanna's Potpourri Specialties, Inc. is hereby endorsed by the City of
Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas for benefits from the refunds/tax credits as provided
in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1993, through June 30, 1999.
Section 2. The Department of Finance and Administration be authorized to refund
local sales and use taxes to Hanna's Potpourri Specialties, Inc.
Sectioul. That this resolution shall take effect immediately.
