RESOLUTION MO. 6-92
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO ENTER INTO ANY OFFER AND ACCEPTANCE
CONTRACTS NECESSARY FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE
TRACTS OF PROPERTY IN PHASE I OF THE AIRPORT
LAND ACQUISITION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL
ADDITIONAL CLOSING DOCUMENTS: AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENTS REQUIRED UNDER THE FEDERAL UNIFORM
RELOCATION ACT ASSOCIATED WITH PHASE I.
NMEMMAS, on September 17, 1991, the Board of Directors
approved Federal Airport Improvement Grant 13-05-0020-15 for the
acquisition of land and easements around the airport that are
obstruction to FAR PART 77 surfaces: and,
NNEREAS, in accordance with the strict requirements of the
Federal Uniform Relocation Act, property offers, relocation
expenses, moving expenses and closing costs on new hoses must be
paid to displaced individuals; and,
MMIREAB, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
facilitate the relocation of the displaced hose owners.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT REMOLVSD BY TEM BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, AREANSAS:
Section 1_ That the Mayor and city Clerk are hereby
authorised and directed to execute an offer and acceptance on the
tracts of property in Phase I, as listed on Schedule "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
gegiagggis That the City Manager, or his designee, are hereby
authorised and directed to execute any and all additional closing
documents in the purchase of the above referenced tracts of
pr'operty
s.ctia.. a_ That payments are authorised for property,
relocation expenses, moving expenses and closing costs on. new homes
as required under the Federal Uniform Relocation Act, which are set
out more fully in Schedule "A". That a variance of 10% shall be
allowed on the total Phase I amount to allow for changes in actual
costs.
