•
Purpose of Change Order:
Item 1.
•
The area involved in this item appeared to be in a much more
deteriorated state once debris was removed and construction
commenced. The addition of paved area thus allows full use of truck
parking and turning area as designed.
Item 2. This area will be planted and maintained by a private organization
and therefore will not require solid sod.
Item 3.
This sidewalk is being added to allow pedestrian traffic traverse to
the west, along Dickson Street, on a paved surface to the University
area.
Item 4. This item was added to comply ADA requirements by providing direct
access to the east across West Avenue
Item 5.
The City of Fayetteville traffic department. after considering the
concerns of Walton Arts Center and adjacent properties, decided that
a better location for the pole and anchor would be in the westerly
sidewalk of West Avenue. Therefore, construction of the pole anchor
was halted and credit was given for the remainder of the work.
Item 6. The style and configuration of the skylight was changed to reduce
the cost of this item. Also changes were made in the roof structure
to simplify construction and reduce costs.
