RESOLUTION NO. 35-92
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PLACEMENT OF THE
ARKANSAS SCHOOL FOR MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE ON
THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS CAMPUS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas
strongly supports the proposal by the University of Arkansas,
Fayetteville, to locate the Arkansas School for Mathematics and
Science on its campus. The City pledges its support in cooperating
to assist the school meet its vital mission of improving math and
science education across the State of Arkansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is directed immediately to
provide the Arkansas Department of Education a copy of this
resolution to inform the Department of the City's strong support
for the placement of the school on the University of Arkansas
campus.
