RESOLUTION NO. 170-92
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH SCOTT C.
LINEBAUGH TO PROVIDE CONSULTING SERVICES TO
THE NEW MAYOR AND ALDERMEN FOR A 120 DAY
PERIOD BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1992 AND ENDING
MARCH 1, 1993.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an agreement with Scott C.
Linebaugh to provide consulting services to the new mayor and
aldermen for a 120 day period beginning November 1, 1992 and ending
March 1, 1993. A copy of the agreement authorized for execution
hereby is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part
hereof.

AGREEMENT
This AGREEMENT entered into this day by and between Scott C.
Linebaugh and the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, hereafter
referred to as the "City", for and in consideration of the mutual
covenants and agreements herein set forth,
WITNESSETH:
1. The City and Scott C. Linebaugh stipulate and agree that
it is in the mutual best interests of all parties for Scott C.
Linebaugh to continue his employment with the City in a consulting
capacity to the new administration of city government for a period
of time of one hundred twenty (120) days.

Accordingly, Scott C. Linebaugh agrees to work for the
consulting capacity for the period beginning November 1,
ending March 1, 1993 for the same monthly salary and
benefits he is currently receiving from the City as City Manager.
3. Scott C. Linebaugh agrees to cooperate with available
city staff and/or the newly elected mayor and aldermen during the
term of this contract as a consultant to assist the city in an
orderly transition to the new aldermanic form of government.
4. Scott C. Linebaugh hereby waives any right, entitlement,
or interest to any accrued benefits from his employment with the
city other than accrued vacation and accrued sick leave.
