A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
SYKES 6 INCH SELF PRIMING CENTRIFUGAL PUMP IN
THE AMOUNT OF $22,236.80 AND APPROVAL OF A
BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,466.80.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors hereby authorizes
the purchase of a Sykes 6 inch self priming centrifugal pump in the
amount of $22,236.80.
Section 2. That the Board of Directors hereby approves a
budget adjustment by decreasing Account No. 5400-5710-5801.00,
(Power Generators), and increasing Account No. 5400-5710-5801.00,
Fixed Assets, $7,466.80. A copy of the budget adjustment is
attached hereto and made a part hereof.

6" Self Priming Centrifugal Pump (Sykes Pump)
JUSTIFICATION OF THIS INCREASE
The Sykes Asp was the only pump that met all
specifications and can be utilized for maintenance at the
Pollution Control plant, as well as, meet the Water &
Sewer emergency needs.

Power Generators
JUSTIFICATION OF THIS DECREASE
We have saved money by purchasing power generators
through the Government Surplus Center. The savings will
allow us to purchase a pump that can be used for all
