RESOLUTION NO. 116-92 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE BOARDING GATE EXPANSION PROJECT AT DRAKE FIELD TO THOMAS HARDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $193,000.00; AND APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FROM THE AIRPORT FUND UNRESERVED FUND BALANCE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in the amount of $193,000.00, with Thomas Harding, for the boarding gate expansion project at Drake Field. A copy of the contract authorized for execution is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof. Section 2. That the Board of Directors hereby approves a budget adjustment to decrease Account #5550-0955-4999-99, Fund Balance, in the amount of $61,210 and increasing Account #5550- 3960- 5804-00, Building Costs, in the amount of $61,210. Several reasons AMOUNT for the higher costs follow: each area has to be completed as a seperate project for operational purposes; the metal roof is no longer manufactured -spec. calls for an exact match; it is a small renovation project and local contracts have many other larger •rojects on which to bid; a partial required replacement due to shifting, etc. .1 • n/a Fund Balance Adjustment. • JUSTIFICATION OF THIS DECREASE revenue for 1991 exceeded budgeted figures and 1991 expenses came in under budgeted figures resulting in a favorable variance. This variance allows sufficient funds for this adjustment while still maintaining the 10% required fund balance for the Airport Fund.
