A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK. TO EXECUTE GRANT AMENDMENTS NO. 1 AND 2
FOR SURRENDERING AIP#3-05-0020-13 AND REDUCING
FUNDING FOR THE OBSTRUCTION PORTION OF AIP #3-
05-0020-14.
BE IT RESOLVED BY .THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute Grant Amendments No. 1 and 2 for
surrending the remaining funds, $72,414 of AIP #3-05-0020-13 and
reducing the funding by $279,320 for the obstruction portion of AIP
#3-05-0020-14. A copy of the amendments authorized for execution
hereby is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part
hereof.

AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 3-05-0020-13
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the
"FAA") acting for and on behalf of the United States, and the city of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, (hereinafter referred to as the "Sponsor"), are the
parties to that Grant Agreement accepted by said Sponsor on the 21 day of
September, 1989, be amended as hereinafter provided.
WHEREAS, all payments under said Grant Agreement have been recovered by the
United States and no additional payments will be requested by Sponsor, and
WHEREAS, the Sponsor has requested, and the FAA has determined it to be in
the interest of the United States, that said Grant Agreement be cancelled.
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the
FAA on behalf of the United States „ on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the
other part, do hereby mutually agree that said Grant Agreement is of no
further force and effect.

AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 3-05-0020-14
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the
"FAA") has determined it to be in the interest of the United States that the
Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of the United
States, and the city of Fayetteville, Arkansas, (hereinafter referred to as
the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 21 day of September, 1989,
be amended as hereinafter provided.
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:

That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the
FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the
other part, do hereby mutually agree that the maximum obligation of the
United States as set forth ,on Page 2,of the Grant Agreement is hereby
decreased from $1,149,948 to $870,718.

The project Description.as shown on Page 1 of the Agreement is hereby revised
to read as follows: Construct runway safety area; acquire emergency
generator, proximity suits, airpacks and first responder kits for ARFF truck;
install access*road lighting and security fencing
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to said
Grant Agreement to be duly'executed as of the 7th day of May , 19 91
