RESOLUTION NO. 24-91
A RESOLUTION
CRAFTON, TULL
CONTRACT.
APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO
& ASSOCIATES, INC. ENGINEERING
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute Amendment No. 4 to Crafton, Tull
& Associates, Inc. engineering contract in the amount of $7,000.00
to allow for construction inspection on the Hwy 265/Hwy 71 water &
sewer relocation project. A copy of the agreement amendment
authorized for execution hereby is attached hereto marked Exhibit
"A" and made a part hereof.

AMENDMENT NO. 4

AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
FOR
UTILITY ADJUSTMENTS
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
This Amendment No. 4 to the original contract dated June 13, 1988, between
the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Crafton, Tull, Spann & Yoe, Inc., (now
doing business as Crafton, Tull & Associates, Inc.), Rogers, Arkansas, is for
the purpose of providing compensation to Engineer for services rendered in the
furnishing of Construction Observation and Project Administration for the
additional time required for completion of the relocation of water and sewer
utilities on the Highway 71 Bypass relocation.
Payment is justified to Engineer based upon the fact that extensive Change
Orders and construction adjustments, ultimately resulting in extended contract
time, were made during the Contract's construction when Highway Contractor was
issued the Notice to Proceed with fill of a 15+ foot high off -ramp in the area
of these water and sewer adjustments.
Compensation to the Engineer is based upon the standardhourly rates for.
the time required to complete said work, not to exceed $7,000.00.
All other stipulations of the original Contract, Amendment No. 1, Amendment
No. 2, and Amendment No. 3 remain unchanged. This Amendment No. 4 agreed to
this 19th day of February , 1991. •
