Resolution 1213-91 authorized a contract with Mr. Blackston commencing on December 16, 1991 and terminating on December 15, 1992. We have recommended that Mr. Blackston's contract be renewed in 1993. This is a City Council agenda item for the December 15, 1992 meeting. I have consulted with Peggy Bates, Purchasing Officer, and Yolanda Perez -Beltran, Internal Auditor, and they agreed that an amendment to the current contract would be the appropriate method to cover the sixteen days from December 16 to December 31, 1992.
