RESOLUTION NO. 11:16-91
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS PROCEDURES FOR THE
NOMINATING COMMITTEE TO FILL VACANCIES TO CITY
COMMITTEES, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors hereby amends the
Nominating Committee procedures to fill vacancies to city
committees, boards and commissions to add:
In order to promote broad representation and
participation by Fayetteville citizens on city
committees, a citizen may serve on one committee from an
original appointment, but if a citizen chooses to seek
appointment to another committee cnd is selected, a
vacancy will be declared on the original committee. This
requirement may be waived if there are no other qualified
applicants."
