A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO
THE AIRPORT FEDERAL GRANT #3-05-0020-14 TO
RELEASE $573,718.00 FOR THE LAND ACQUISITION
PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Rection 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute Federal Grant #3-05-0020-14
releasing $573,718 to recovered and utilized on the land
acquisition project. A copy of the grant authorized for execution
hereby is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part
hereof.

AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 3-05-0020-14
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the
"FAA") has determined it to be in the interest of the United States that the
Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of the United
States, and the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, (hereinafter referred to as
the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 21st day of September, 1989,
be amended as hereinafter provided.
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:
That In consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the
FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the
other part, do hereby mutually agree that
The Project Description as shown on Page 1 of the Grant Agreement is hereby
revised to read as follows: Install emergency generator; acquire proximity
suits, airpacks and first responder kits for ARFF truck; install access road
lighting; install security fencing; clear and seed portion of runway
protection zone, and engineering design for safety area improvements.
The maximum obligation of the United States as set forth on Page 2 of the
Agreement is hereby decreased from $870,718 to $297,000.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to said
Grant Agreement to be duly executed as of the 3rd day of Sept. . 1991

proceedings taken by said Sponsor relating thereto, and find that the
execution thereof by said Sponsor has been duly authorized and is in all
respects due and proper and in accordance with the laws of the State of
Arkansas , and further that, in my opinion, said Amendment to
Grant Agreement constitutes a legal and binding obligation of the Sponsor in
accordance with the terms thereof.
