A RESOLUTION TO REMOVE THE MORATORIUM ON THE
USE OF HERBICIDES OR PESTICIDES AS PROVIDED IN
RESOLUTION 90-90, SECTION 2 OF THE VEGETATION
MANAGEMENT POLICY AND PROCEDURES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors removes the
moratorium on use of herbicides or pesticides as provided for in
Resolution 90-90 and Section 2 of the Vegetation Management Policy
and Procedures as recommended by the Vegetation Management Advisory
Committee.

WHEREAS, one of the goals of the Arkansas State Highway
Commission is to promote the economic development of Arkan-
sas; and
WHEREAS, local officials of the City of Fayetteville
have requested an improved access to serve a new company, K-
D Tools, Inc., which will be located in the Fayetteville In-
dustrial Park; and
WHEREAS, the improvements will consist of constructing
approximately 0.75 mile of roadway on new location that
would extend Commerce Drive from its present intersection
with Armstrong Avenue westward to Highway 156.

NOW THEREFORE, the Director is authorized to proceed
surveys, plans and construction as funds become avail -

1. K -D Tools, Inc. final decision to locate at the
site.
2. The City furnishing 20% of
