RESOLUTION NO. 36-90
A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO INVESTIGATE THE
ADVISABILITY OF JOINT OWNERSHIP OF A WATERLINE
WITH THE BEAVER WATER DISTRICT WEST OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE.
WHEREAS, The Beaver Water District Board contacted city staff
regarding their interest in changing the city's planned 36 Inch
waterline to a 48 inch waterline in order to serve areas west of
the City of Fayetteville and;
WHEREAS, the Beaver Water District wishes to the city to
examine such a concept prior to performing the necessary work for
the initial planning of the project and;
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville wishes to be a "good
neighbor" to the outlying areas:
THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF FAYE9TTEVTId.E, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors hereby agrees to
investigate the advisability of joint ownership of a waterline
with Beaver Water District west of the City of Fayetteville.
