RESOLUTION NO. 25-90
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE AND WASHINGTON COUNTY 70
'MPROVE FON H:;NTER ROAD FROM HIGHWAY 45 TO THE
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ENTRANCE.

FAY fl'TEVTI.I.E, ARKANSAS:
Section i. That the 'Iavcr and City Clerk are Hereby
authorized and directed to execute a contract between the City of
Favetteviile and Washington County to improve Fox Hunter Road from
Highway 45 to the wastewater treatment plant entrance. A cony of
the contract authorized for execution hereby is attached hereto
marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

CONTRACT FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
AND OTHER MATTERS
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered in this 20th day of February ,1990 ,
by and between WASHINGTON COUNTY. ARKANSAS. by and through its County
Judge. Charles Johnson, hereinafter referred to as "County. and City of Fayetteville,
hereinafter referred to as "City".
COUNTY does hereby agree to provide the following road construction services
to City:
a) Provide SB -2 base gravel
b) Setup SB -2
c) Furnish and install MC -30 Prime Oil
d) Install double chip seal surface
CITY does hereby agree to pay County for said services as follows:
a) City will clean-up trash on Fox Hunter
b) City will haul SB -2
c) City will reimburse County for cost of asphalt
d) City will reimburse County for cost of surface chips
CITY AND COUNTY intend that an independent contractor relationship will be
created by this contract. Neither party is to be considered an agent or employee
of the other.
CITY AND COUNTY shall carry such insurance as required by law, including but
not limited to public liability end workers' compensation.
CITY AND/OR COUNTY may cancel this contract on 30 days written notice.
