A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE CITY OF
'rAYETTEVILE'S APPROVAL OF THE CONCEPT OF
SELLING WATER TO THE WASHINGTON WATER
AUTHORITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPLYING WATER
TO THE SOUTH WASHINGTON COUNTY WATER PROJECT
AREA.
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville has received a request on
behalf of the South Washington County WaLer Project for approval
of the concept of purchasing water supplied by the City for
approximately 120 square miles in South Washington County, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville approves of the concept of
providing such water to the Washington Water Authority for the
purposes requested by the South Washington County Water Project so
long as it does not materially impair service to the City's
existing water customers.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section i. That the Board of Directors hereby approves
the concept of selling water to the Washington Water Authority for
the purpose of supplying water to the South Washington County
Water Project Arca.
