HomeMy WebLinkAbout191-90 RESOLUTIONRESOLUTION NO. 191-90 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER TO THE DAVIDSON STREET PROJECT WITH FAYETTE TREE & TRENCH. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a change order to the contract with Fayette Tree & Trench in the amount of $16,174.74 for the Davidson Street project. A copy of the change order authorized for execution hereby is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof. ITEM # 1A 6" PVC GRAVITY SEWER These cost overruns are due to the 6" sewer services necessary to tie existing 6" services to new sewer mains. ITEM #18 8" PVC GRAVITY SEWER These cost overruns are due to of the proposed sewer main replacement between Huntsville Rd. and Center St. ITEM A 1C. 18" PVC GRAVITY SEWER These cost overruns are due to of. the proposed sewer mainreplacement between 15th St. and City Lumber Co. ITEM p 2B 18" DUCTILE IRON GRAVITY SEWER These cost overruns are due to re-routes of the proposed sewer main replacement between 15th, St. and City Lumber Co. ITEM # 3 SANITARY SEWER MANHOLES These overruns were due to re-routes of the proposed sewer Main replacement of the "A" line from Huntsville Rd. and Center St. and the re-route of the "D" line from 15th St. to City Lumber Co. ITEM # 4 CLASS 7 BACKFILL These overruns were due to poor ground conditions of the "E" and "F" lines on Davidson St. and the "G' line on Halsell Rd. These three lines accounted for approximately $10,000.00 of the total overrun on this item. This section didn't have adequate depth for protection of the sewer main. ITEM 418 4" SERVICE LINES The overrun on this item was due to the re-routes of the "A" line from Huntsville Rd. to Center St. and the re-route of the "D" line from 15th St. to City Lumber Co. And also -the existence of Orange Burg Sewer Service pipe which was replaced with SCH 40 PVC sewer service pipe. The existence of the Orange Burg pipe was on the A,B,C,D and E lines. ITEM 4311 4" SERVICE TAPS • The overrun on this item was due to the existence of sewer service taps to the existing sewer mains that were replace with a new sewer main. ITEM 4 13 ROCK EXCAVATION Overrun due to the existence of rock on the "B" , "E" and "H" lines. Sir, I hope this review explains the cost overruns on this project.
