A RESOLUTION APPROVING CERTAIN WATER
IMPROVEMENTS FOR SUNRISE MOUNTAIN AND
AUTHORIZING. THE CITY TO PAY 75% OF SUCH COSTS
IF THE SUNRISE MOUNTAIN PROPERTY OWNERS PAY
25% OF SUCH COSTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors hereby authorizes
the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement with the
Sunrise Mountain property owners to construct certain improvements
to the Sunrise Mountain Water System.
Section 2. That the aforementioned agreement shall be for
minimum improvements to include the construction of 3,000 feet of
4 inch water main, a new booster pump, and 2,500 gallon pressure
tank at an estimated cost not to exceed $80,000.00.

Section 3. That the aforementioned agreement shall commit
the City to the payment of 75% of such costs contingent upon the
Sunrise Property owners paying the remaining 25% but not more than
$20,000.00.
Section 4. That the aforementioned. agreement shall provide
that ownership .and maintenance of the•;water system with
improvements shall rest with the City of Fayetteville.
Section 5., .The aforementioned water improvements shall be
placed in the Capital Improvement Plan itd be done in 1991.
