A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE
NIBLOCK LAW FIRM FOR LEGAL SERVICES RENDERED
IN THE INCINERATOR PROJECT AND FOlA LAWSUITS
FROM DECEMBER 1, 1989 TO DECEMBER 31, 1989.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Board of Directors hereby authorizes
payment in the amount of S18,511.93 to the Niblock Law Firm for
legal services rendered in the incinerator project and FOIA
lawsuits from December 1, 1989 to December 31, 1989. A copy of
the billing sheet is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

SUBJECT: Request for Payment of Attorney's Fees Concerning
Incinerator Disengagement
Attached to this memorandum, you will find the November, 1989
statement for services rendered by the Niblock Law Firm concerning
the incinerator disengagement. It totals $18,511.93.
As you are aware, the estimated figure given to the Board was
$500,000 for attorney's fees to defend the City in the lawsuit with
Mr. Robson if we are successful on the first level. We have
previously paid law firms $188,088.04 for defending the City. Mr.
Jerry Rose or I will be glad to get any further information or
answer any questions you may have concerning this issue.
