RESOLUTION NO. 152-90
A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #2 ON THE
DAVIDSON` STREET SEWER LINE REPLACEMENT
PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute Change Order #2 in the amount
of $2,531.70 amending the engineering contract with DEI
Engineering for the Davidson Street Sewer Line Replacement
Project. A copy of the change order authorized for execution
hereby is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part
hereof.

AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
NO. TWO (2)
This is an amendment to the Agreement for Engineering Services
executed on the 12th day of April 1989 and as amended on the 4th
day of August 1989 between the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas and
CEI Engineering Associates, Inc. for the Davidson Street Sewer
Rehabilitation Project.
The City has requested that CEI reroute two separate portions
of sanitary sewer line segments already surveyed, designed, and
approved for construction due to easement/property owner conflict.
The reroutes involve additional surveying, design, drafting and
easement preparation for approximately 560 LF of 8" sewer main and
850 LF of 18" sewer main.
CEI Engineering Associates, Inc. agrees to perform the various
professional engineering services for the design and construction
of said additional segment.
The CITY shall compensate the ENGINEER inaccordance with the
following schedule:
Part 1: For professional services required to complete detailed
plans and specifications for the above referenced
project, including surveys for easement purposes and
$2,000 for the preparation of easements and plats for
easement acquisition said amount ($2,000) to be adjusted
based on actual easement requirements, the CITY shall
compensate the ENGINEER with the lump sum fee of
$11,029.47 .(Eleven thousand twenty-nine and 47/100 dollars)
Part 2: For professional services for the bid phase of the
project, through the recommendation of awards, the CITY
shall compensate the ENGINEER with the lump sum fee of
$ 1,227.14 (One thousand two hundred twenty seven and
14/100 dollars)
Part 3: For professional services required to perform
construction management including one full time inspector
for the entire estimated construction period and
preparation of "As -Built" drawings, the CITY shall
compensate the ENGINEER with the lump sum fee of
$ 8,575.18 (Eight thousand five hundred seventy five and
18/100 dollars)

Said amounts reflecting a proportional amount of a total
increase of $2,531.79 (Two thousand five hundred thirty one
and 79/100 dollars)
This amendment does not affect or alter any contract provision
other than what is clearly stated herein.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed, or caused
to be executed by their duly authorized officials, this Amendment
in duplicate on the respective dates indicated below.
