C. 20590 SU Page 1 of z Pages Contract No. DOT FA 89 -SW -8784 Drake Field Airport Fayetteville, Arkansas Location 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 3-05-0020-14 WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "FAA") has determined it to be in the interest of the United States that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf df the United States, and the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas , (hereinafter referred'to as the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 21 day of September 19 89 be amended as hereinafter provided. NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH: That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the .FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that The maximum obligation of the United States as set forth on Page 2 of the Grant Agreement is hereby increased from $505,039.00 to $1,149,948. This increase in the maximum obligation is based upon the apportionment made to the Sponsor for FY90 pursuant to Section 507 (a)(1) of the Airport and Airway Improvement Act, as provided for in Paragraph ll on Page 3 of the Grant Agreement.
