RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT LETTER WITH
BLACK AND VEATCH FOR A WATER AND SEWER
OPERATIONS REPORT AND APPROVAL OF A BUDGMENT
ADJUSTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an agreement letter with Black
and Veatch of Kansas City, Missouri for a water and sewer
operations report, not to exceed the amount of $15,000.00. A copy
of the contract authorized for execution hereby is attached hereto
marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That the Board of Directors hereby approves
the budget adjustment reflected in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and
made a part hereof.

Dear Mr. Bunn:
Black & Veatch is pleased to have the opportunity to provide to you our
consulting services in connection with needs of the City of Fayetteville.
Services to be rendered by Black & Veatch will be as stated in the SCOPE OF
SERVICES section of our Proposal for Report on Operations for the Water and
Sewer Systems, dated August 18, 1989, and incorporated herein by reference.
For all services performed by Black & Veatch, as detailed in the SCOPE OF
SERVICES, the basis of charges would be as follows:

Plus direct out-of-pocket expenses.
The fee for services to be provided under the SCOPE OF SERVICES would be
provided at the above rates with the maximum total billing not -to -exceed
$15,000.
Additional Services beyond those included in the SCOPE OF SERVICES will be
provided upon request but are not included in the maximum total billing
stated. Such Additional Services would be provided under the same unit
billing basis as described above.
It is anticipated that the City would furnish required basic data and
information for the water and sewer utilities as set forth in the SCOPE OF
SERVICES section of the Proposal referred to above.
