A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CHIEF OF POLICE TO PROCEED WITH THE CLOSING OF
THE CITY JAIL.
BE TT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVI Li.F , ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Chief of Police is hereby authorized
and directed to proceed with the closing of the Fayetteville City
Jail on or about December 01, 1989. Further, the Chief of Police
is authorized and directed to proceed with negotiations with
Washington County Jail officials concerning the holding of City
prisoners for a daily booking and/or holding fee.
