A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO TASK ORDER 10
AND TASK ORDERS 11, 12, 13 AND 14 TO THE
CITY'S ENGINEERING CONTRACT WITH CH2M HILL
SOUTHEAST, INC., TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONAL
ENGINEERING SERVICES ON CONSTRUCTION OF THE
CITY'S NEW WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT AND
SLUDGE MANAGEMENT PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an amendment to Task Order 10
under the City,'s engineering contract with CH2M Hill Southeast,
Inc., for continued engineering services because of delays in
construction of the City's new Wastewater Treatment Plant. A copy
of the amendment. authorized for _execution hereby is attached
hereto marked.Exhibit "A" and made apart hereof.
Section 2. That °the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute Task Orders 11, 12, 13 and 14
under the City's engineering contract with CH2M Hill Southeast,
Inc., to provide for additional engineering services on the City's
sludge management project. Copies of the Task Orders authorized
for execution hereby are attached hereto marked Exhibits "B", "C",
"D" and "E" and made a part hereof.

TASK ORDER NUMBER 10, AMENDMENT 1
ADDITIONAL RESIDENT OBSERVATION AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
This Amendment No. l amends Task Order Number 10 executed
between CH2M HILL Southeast, Inc. (Engineer), and the City
of Fayetteville, Arkansas (Owner), on the 25th day of April,
1987.
Article 1
The scope of work is to provide additional resident
observation services and engineering services during
construction for the added period from September 30, 1987,
through January 7, 1988, resulting from the construction
contractor's further delay, in addition to those services
covered by the Amended Task Order Number 2, for the
Wastewater Treatment project and Task Order Number 10.
Article 2
As consideration for providing the services enumerated in
Article 1 above, the Owner shall pay the Engineer on the
basis of raw labor plus 163% for overhead plus 15% for
profit plus all project related direct expenses.
Subcontractor costs will be marked up 5%. The additional
cost is estimated to be $92,300 based on projection of the
extra costs to a revised Phase 1 and 2 completion date of
December 31, 1987, and a Phase 3 completion date of January
7, 1988. The total for T. 0. Number 10 as amended is thus
$182,300.
Article 3
Payment to the Engineer for services provided as described
in Article 1 is due to be made within 30 days after date of
billing.

TASK ORDER NUMBER 11
ADDITIONAL RESIDENT OBSERVATION
AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
Task Order Number 11 amends the Amended Task Order Number 2
executed between CH2M HILL Southeast, Inc. (Engineer), and
the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas (Owner), on the 30th day
of November, 1984.
Article 1
The scope of work is to provide additional resident
observation services and engineering services during
construction for the period from June 18, 1987, through
October 30, 1987, for the additional work required from
involvement of the Contractor's bonding company, in addition
to that covered by the Amended Task Order Number 2, for the
Sludge Management project.
Article 2
As consideration for providing the services enumerated in
Article 1 above, the Owner shall pay the Engineer on the
basis of raw labor plus 163% for overhead plus 15% for
profit plus all project -related direct expenses.
Subcontractor costs will be marked up 5%. The total cost is
dependent upon the schedule of the Contractor and the extra
work required by the bonding company, but is estimated to
total $14,000.
Article 3
Payment to the Engineer for services provided as described
in Article 1 is due to be made within 30 days after date of
billing.

TASK ORDER NUMBER 12
ADDITIONAL RESIDENT OBSERVATION
AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
Task Order Number 12 amends the Amended Task Order Number 2
executed between CH2M HILL Southeast, Inc. (Engineer), and
the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas (Owner), on the 30th day
of November, 1984.
Article 1
The scope of work is to provide additional resident
observation services and engineering services during
construction for an estimated two month period from
August 12, 1987, in addition to that covered by the Amended
Task Order Number 2, for the Sludge Management project.
Article 2
.'As consideration for providing the services enumerated in
Article 1 above, the Owner shall pay the Engineer on the
basis of raw labor plus 163% for overhead plus 15% for
profit plus all project related direct expenses.
Subcontractor costs will be marked up 5%. The total cost is
dependent upon the schedule of the Contractor, but is
e stimated to total $49,000 based on an estimate the
Contractor's likely delay in completing the work of
everything but the grass stand establishment. The likely
delay of the grass stand establishment will be the subject
o f a future task order.
Article 3
Payment to the Engineer for services provided as described
in Article 1 is due to be made within 30 days after date of
billing. The likely delay of the grass stand establishment
will be the subject of a future task order.

ADDITIONAL RESIDENT OBSERVATION
AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
Task Order Number 13 amends the Amended Task Order Number 2
executed between CH2M HILL Southeast, Inc. (Engineer), and
the City of Fayetteville; Arkansas (Owner), on the 30th day
of November, 1984.,
Article 1
The scope of work is to provide additional resident
observation services and engineering services during
construction for the one-year construction period from
July 14, 1987, in addition to that covered by the Amended
Task Order Number 2, for the Sludge Management. project.
Article 2
As consideration for providing the services enumerated in
Article 1 above, the Owner shall pay the Engineer on the
basis of raw labor plus 163% for overhead plus 15% for
profit plus all project -related direct expenses.
Subcontractor costs will be marked up 5%. The cost for the
additional services are estimated to total $25,000 based on
the status of all three projects to date, and an estimate of
the cost to complete the work within the contracted
schedule.
Article 3
Payment to the Engineer for services provided as described
in Article 1 is due to be made within .30 days after date of
billing.

ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
FOR BID PROTEST AND PREBID OF IRRRIGATORS
Task Order Number 14 amends the Amended Task Order Number 2
executed between CH2M HILL Southeast, Inc. (Engineer), and.
the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas (Owner), on the 30th day
of November, 1984.
Article 1
The scope of work is to provide additional engineering
services for the bid protest and rebiding of the irrigators,
in addition to that covered by the Amended Task Order
Number 2, for the Sludge Management project.
Article 2
As consideration for providing the services enumerated in
Article 1 above, the Owner shall pay the Engineer on the
basis of raw labor plus 163% for overhead plus 15% for
profit plus all project related direct expenses.
Subcontractor costs will be marked up 5%. The total cost is
estimated to be $3,800.
Article 3
Payment to the Engineer for services provided as described
in Article 1 is due to be made within 30 days after date of
billing.
