A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH TIME SAND-
BLASTING FOR STREET STRIPING.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVI LLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a contract with Time Sandblasting for street
striping. A copy of the contract authorized for execution hereby
is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

RE: 1987 STREET STRIPING BID NO. 791
My first inclination was to award Striping Bid 791 to
Stafford Enterprises based on their past performance with the
City of Fayetteville. However, after checking references for
Time Sandblasting, the apparent low bidder, I have found that
they have completed several jobs satisfactorily for Washington
County and the Arkansas Highway Department. Therefore, I
recommend that Striping Bid No. 791 be awarded to Time
Sandblasting at .0789 per linear foot.

RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends award of the bid to the apparent low bidder
Time Sandblasting for the striping of approximately 1001000
feet at .0789 per linear foot. Money for this job is budgeted
in account 01.44601.054.
